Summer window always brings out nutty posts on here it’s great. I wish it was only during summer.
B-more Mag
All we wanted was a club that successfully completes exciting transfers, preferably foreign, within the bounds of applicable FFP/PSR schemes, on a regular enough schedule that we're not forced to F5, F5, F5, etc., and jump to unreasonable conclusions. That's all. Edited 5 hours ago by B-more Mag

WilliamPS
Can the thread be renamed transfer meltdowns since there are f-all rumours? A reminder that this squad is easily the strongest for 20 years. And is genuinely better than last year as Tonali hopefully has stayed out of Ladbrokes and a load of players have improved in the last 12 months, plus some squad defects have been sorted. There's a reason the likes of Atletico, Villa and Spurs have looked at him and not Longstaff. He is a much better player than Longstaff.

Whitley mag
Gallagher isn’t helping us become better in possession, or a more technical team, with Joelinton and Tonali it would be an opportunist signing we don’t need with other glaring holes.

Yeah obviously not, why are you assuming he'd be a squad player here? You think Joelinton, Bruno and Tonali play 100% of games this season, because they wont. Longstaff will play 35 games this season atleast, just like he as in the last two seasons. That's not a squad player role

The Butcher
Gallagher would only join if one of Bruno, Tonali or Joelinton left imo.
Optimistic Nut
If we didn't have Tonali or Joelinton, I reckon we'd have been in for Gallagher. Don't think he'd go anywhere he's not first choice.
