They have bought well. There's deals out there to be done with more bravery. This is how to navigate and beat PSR. Ola Aina has been brilliant for them too, and is a Chelsea Cobham graduate. They signed him on a free. Hudson Odoi out of Cobham too, they signed for £3 million from Leverkusen.

Steady lad, let’s just spunk £30m a pop on some “oven ready” young English talent from other PL clubs. Next stop Anthony Elanga and Mark Guehi for £100m. Armchair Pundit
I can see us cashing in on Almiron and Tripps easy enough in January, probably why Eddie's been playing Murphy and Tino more. But, it also wouldn't surprise me if we bit the bullet and sold one of our bigger stars, like Isak or Bruno as well, just to fund beefing out the squad some more with the PSR hamstringing in place. It wouldn't be ideal, but after a fairly indifferent first half of the season I have to wonder if it would impact us as much as our hearts over minds would have us feeling. Conjo
There's no cashing in on Tripps. Nobody will pay for 34 year old player with 6 months left on his contract. There's no incentive for us to let him leave in January on a free either so I'm 99% sure he'll stay here to the summer.
Zero
There is a slim chance that Man City would splash the cash on Bruno if they want to make a turnaround

Our incentive would be his significant wages off the books, but that’s probably only really relevant if we think he’s no longer likely to contribute to any real degree on or off the pitch. Contract ends June 2026 so it's 18 months but agreed an aging player will a recently poor injury record doesn't have alot of value unless he's specifically needed somewhere by another club. Yeah I just don’t see it working with Barnes and Gordon here, it was an odd signing from the off. Might as well sell Barnes to bring a RW in.
soyt
Elanga would fill the void left by Miggy tbh, both have 0 goals this season. Edited December 10 by soyt

He would be perfect but I will post this quote from him again: Quote Bakayoko has a contract with PSV until the summer of 2026 and told Voetbal International that he will only leave the club for someone who is fighting for titles. He said, “I look carefully at where I am now and what I want to achieve. I want to go to a club that can get as far as possible in the Champions League, a club that plays for the title every season. And where I can improve every year. I rule out a lot of clubs. My ambitions are high and not with clubs in the middle. I am doing well here, so I will only swap PSV for a club that plays for trophies.” Football Oranje

SUPERTOON
Never really concern myself with if a player wants to come or not. We will only bid for a player once we know they went to come. Everything is pretty much agreed between a player and the buying club now, before a fee is even agreed.

Tsunami
Elanga would be a shocking signing. Surely we’ve seen enough of him now (when he actually gets some minutes) to know that his end product is generally poor, that’s he’s not a natural goal scorer and whilst he’s very quick he’s got nowt else. He’s not progressed at all from his Man U time. I’ll be genuinely worried if this is a goer.
