NUFC Transfer Rumours

Recommended Posts

#Milan is considering outgoing solutions to accommodate the surplus #Okafor and #Chukwueze . The two forwards have been proposed in the Premier League , among others to #Tottenham and #Newcastle

If we have looked at the likes of Mbeumo, Madueke, Elanga and Semenyo and we have an opportunity to bring in Chukwueze on a potential loan with an option, I'll be pretty disappointed if we don't go for it with Miggy leaving.

I think in the more open and uptempo Premier League, not to mention the style of football we play, he would be incredibly well suited.

Now ... I know every time I suggest a Naija player that I think is worthy of playing for Newcastle, I get accused of hyping them up because of their nationality, and so I'll just share his data and player comps as well.

Noah Okafor would be right up our alley if we are looking for/can afford a Wilson replacement. Boy knows how to hit a ball, puts himself about and is nice and direct - very in the mold of a Howeball player. Not sure how he'd do on the right wing though. Swiss international compatriot of wor Schar. Only concern is that, like Wilson (somewhat), he is a bit of a crock.

I’m sure this has been answered before but when does the window slam shut? [emoji38]

Window was never open for NUFC

PSR (yawn) means it jammed tight shut like a 120 year old sash window frame that’s been coated in millions of billions of layers of emulsion

Aye, people are just driving themselves mental in here. They've been briefing the same message for months. No one in Jan, barring a big injury to a big player.

There’s a lot of scope for refreshing the squad in the summer, where there’s better value. We have a maximum of:

15 league games

2 Carabao cup games

5 FA Cup games

to navigate this season. We have Wilson and Barnes theoretically fit in 2 weeks, leaving Lascelles as the only crock and Joelinton currently the only player close to nudging a two match yellow card suspension, which honestly feels an inevitable conclusion by March. The hope is Bunce and co can manage us through to the end without any major injuries. There are currently only 3 midweekers left in the calendar but possibility for more if we go through vs Arsenal and in the FA Cup quarter, semi and final.

Wait................what...........

So what you're telling me is that all these Twatter accounts and journo's that have linked us with players, they're actually just making it all up ?

And that all of the subsequent statistical analysis of those linked players from the N-O Scouting Squadron, it was just a massive waste of time ?

I do get it but it does feel deflating, with Miggy gone it would be nice to get a fresh injection of energy so the team keeps going hard this season

Does it? We're losing a player who had limited minutes all season. We're a few weeks away from having a fully fit squad with the exception of Lascelles. We're in good form, in all competitions and vying for European football.
