But with all these teams where is his path to the first team. Real for example aren't playing Guler atm. PSG have players like Kang in who hardly get a sniff to.

Our appeal is potentially regular football at hopefully a champions league club

Or if Real do sign him, put in a cheeky enquiry for Guler.

Might be being delusional but I'd put our pull right the way up there at the moment.

We're currently the best team in the most watched league in the world and constantly growing with a new stadium in the works.

It's all gonna be fresh in players memories come the summer, plus the pathway to the first team is almost guaranteed, respectfully to Murphy.

There’s not loads I’d change about our squad, it’s become a unit again.

GK to challenge Pope

RCB to compete with Schär

CM to replace Longstaff or Miley.

CF to replace Wilson

RW to compete with Murphy

If Gordon leaves let Cordero be backup for Barnes.

An insane opinion, IMHO.

I feel like recency bias is reigning over this list you've made.

Certainly nothing wrong with our scouting, that Andrey Santos is now one of the best midfielders in France after his unsuccessful loan at Forrest.

Thinks it’s just been our finances and timing that has prevented us from having more young talent on the books.

Best coach in the world at developing players

Just broken very long trophy drought

Handful of top class players already

If we qualify for CL it’s 2 in 3 seasons

Finishing the season in fantastic form

Play in the most watched league in the world

Wealthy owners with stated ambition of being number 1

We have an awful lot going for us.

I think today has shown that while we may be one or two away from having a top quality side, we are still a long way from having a top quality squad.

Obviously I have no idea what our budget is but we have to stretch it as far as we can. I don't want to see us spend £60m on a marquee RW and still have to look to the likes of Longstaff, Wilson and Krafth on the bench if a game isn't going our way.

Think tonight just reaffirmed we need:

- A keeper who can pass through the lines.

- A centre-back with a bit of pace.

- A right-winger.

We'll be a 4th to 7th place team as we are with Howe and our high intensity/quality in the middle and in attack, but for the next level we need those 3.

It's definitely not.

When Man City want him, you know he's a player and a half.

He's twice the player Mbuemo is, for reference on value.

Mbuemo 18 goals and premier league established?

Twice is a huge statement, be lucky to live up to the standard Mbuemo has already set.

Thank you!

I feel like I've been saying this forever.

If we go back into Europe without filling out the squad more, especially now there's even more games to play in Europe, I don't think it's going to go well.

As things stand we have one player coming off the bench that is consistently good, in Barnes/Gordon.

All the rest are a mish mash of inconsistency, poor play, a lack of experience or struggles with injuries.

We really had better figure out a way to stretch that budget this summer.

Yeah a new gk, RW and CB with speed takes us up a notch for sure but it’s going to be a struggle during the next window to equip the squad with the depth needed.

Three goals behind Isak. Mbuemo is having a golden season.
