NUFC Transfer Rumours

Recommended Posts

Lots of traction from reliable journos today about Cunha to Manure. Seems they've been in talks already and it's going well (The Athletic among others). Wonder who wanted to force our name into it by breifing Hope. Guessing it was more likely Cunha's people than the club?

Man Utd will never go away. No matter how many times they fail there’s always that legacy (and all that comes with it) that they can fall back on to bounce back. The footballing equivalent of having a super successful and wealthy grandfather; this current iteration of Man Utd is essentially a fuck-up trust fund kid at this point.

At least he's a good match in terms of attitude

Didn’t he get a bollocking off both his managers this season for having a go at his teammates on the pitch for general shit play?

He’s going to get a lot of fines and bollockings if he goes to Man U

Cunha actually cares about winning and playing well, in that sense he’d be a great signing for Man Utd. That would take them up to 2 players who actually care (Fernandes the other)

Maguire cares, he’s just shite

If the player prefers them right now, for whatever reason, then I'm not interested in seeing him in a Newcastle shirt. Tells me everything about his motivations and the things he's interested in. He's not for us, move on

A touch of copium knocking around in here.

Cunha is a good player and would be a good signing for them.

I’d love him here. We’ll just be priced out on wages if we were interested and we’d have to change the system slightly to accommodate him. But I think it would be worth it.

I still don't want Cunha, I know it's hard to judge from the outside, but from what I've seen he seems really arrogant, cocky and self centred that seems easily combustible, which is the polar opposite of the makeup of our current squad.

If Man United want to progress, they need to be avoiding players like Cunha, as it's that sort of signing which has done them in in the past.
