Another game the today that highlighted our need for another top class CM imo. Not sure we can stretch the budget that far though.

I think it’s an area that could do with a fair bit of surgery but I’m not sure how without selling someone.  We need a better DM than Joelinton and some extra creativity

Aye, completely agree. Can’t see it happening this summer however, unless a big sale happens, or we get decent money for Willock and Longstaff.

If true, think we will go back in for him. Never seen him play, so can’t comment on his quality.

Think it will depend on what Palace quote for Guehi, as I think he'd be the preference.

But yeah, we bid more than this price for Thiaw last summer and so imagine he will still be high on in the list.

If anyone from Palace I’d love to get Wharton.  Any decent RCB would do the job.

We do lack that killer pace. Brighton were full of it today with their young wingers and DMs.

Not a chance we can afford Wharton.

There's been talking of him costing £100 million.

So good luck with that.

But that didn’t factor in the Wilson + Longstaff + Targett and Willock deal we put on the table. So we should be able to get him for half that

Thiaw is decent to very good on his day but makes too many mistakes imo. Guehi is easily the better player and only a year or two older; the difference in ability would be reflected in the price, so it would depend on how we want to spread our budget.

What I love about Diomande is that he’s a physical beast who can play a bit too. Suffers from massive concentration issues and makes really dumb decisions sometimes but he’s the youngest of the 3 with perhaps the biggest upside. Would be a gamble considering they’d certainly ask for over 40m though.

If Guehi’s going for less than 45m then it’s a no brainer for me.

Not a rumour but would anyone take Yeremay from Deportivo La Coruña? Second tier but another two goals and an assist yesterday. Tearing up that league and wouldn't cost the earth.

Down as a winger here but can play as a ten.

Looks good, but seems a bit light weight? Spanish second division is a big jump stylistically to the premier league.

could be worth a gamble but would have to be cheap.

£17 Million release clause. Seems to have interest from a few premier league clubs such as Arsenal and Chelsea

Didn't realise Deportivo are now languishing in the second tier. Feels like only a few years ago they were winning La Liga and doing really well in the Champions League.

They've just come back up from the third tier. Were down there several years, like Sunderland.
