NUFC Transfer Rumours

Meh. He’s tidy, clever and good in tight spaces but I’m not really sure he’s got the physicality or speed to work as a top winger in the prem.

Lot of player for 25m though. Would be a decent bit of business and saves some money for other positions.

He's done reasonably well in France, which is physically quite similar to ours because he's techincally at the very highest level.

He's a great age, great price and is tried and tested in a team that dominates possession and territory.

I'm not sure I'd choose Mbuemo over someone like B. Silva, which is the profile I'd say is most similar to Lee Kang-In, if others say they would, then fair play.

Why we not in for De Bruyne, still think he’s an upgrade on Willock and Longstaff for a season.

Because £350k a week minimum and barely any legs. Other than that, dunno.

This is what worries me.

It’s mad how only 4 of them were worth it, including the same player twice.

Look at the state of most expensive signings in PL history only VVD and Rice could be considered an outright success. Jury still out on whether Fernandez, Caicedo and Gvardiol will ever live up to their billing, but as it stands they hardly represent value for money.

#15 is Havertz to Chelsea fwiw

The Chelsea ones are pretty bad but look at the state of that Manchester United spending, delicious.

Look, I know I was in football oblivion because of the ashley years, but I swear you lot just invent players into existence. Isn't Lee Kang from Mortal Kombat?

For anyone that didn’t listen to this the ‘PSR expert’ guy they had on named Villa, Southampton and Wolves as the clubs likely to be tight to the limits, so they could be who clubs in stronger positions (i.e Newcastle) could target for the June deadline.

Quite a few potential targets from those clubs.

Agree.

Rogers

Konsa

Ait-Nouri

Cunha

Dibling

Obviously some more attainable than others there.

From Villa I would test them for Ramsey and Roger’s and maybe low ball for Bailey.

Southampton will want silly money for Dibling, but maybe again worth a low ball. Walker Peters wouldn’t be bad.

Wolves - Ait Nouri would be good. Cunha is away elsewhere unless we can sneak in during the PSR deadline

If they are struggling with PSR then they can’t really demand silly money surely?

Sure, but they’re already quoting £100m or some shite aren’t they. Offering even half of that would be too much of our budget I think.
