I can understand that the striker situation is a much more difficult one. But why have we not been making proper moves for CB’s or CM’s yet?? One might argue that we need the striker situation sorted out first to then see how much money there’s left. But we can’t wait forever and risk ending up way way too short when it comes to players in overall.

The only way we can grow the club is by buying top players to take us to a higher level. Its the only way that's ever happened. Otherwise its a case of if you always do what you always did, you'll always get what you always got. Its just PSR has shut that down now.  Nothing wrong with the principal.

Honestly don't think we can turn this window around now. We are going to over pay for anyone we bring in at this point. The train alone news today also seems like thats the end for Isak. Happy days.

Get Wissa in and strengthen as fuck in other positions/squad instead. Not as good (ceiling) as Isak but you cannot underestimate Wissa nor the overall strength of the team if done correctly.

 

There’s been plenty of teams doing well without a proper quality striker like Isak. Even Isak isn’t unplayable that often over a whole season.

Not saying it will be the case with him. As I have no idea if he would be getting a significant pay rise compared to what he is on at PSG.

 

But if the money is right and they have a chance to showcase their talents in the self-proclaimed BEST LEAGUE IN THE WORLD. Then I highly doubt they will give a flying fuck.

I doubt Chelsea would let him go for less than 70, but I actually think Jackson would thrive in our system and would suit us a lot more than Sesko.

We have to think moneyball with the Isak money. RW is sorted, now we need to upgrade central defence. I would also want a Joelinton replacement.
