Depends on fee but would definitely be an upgrade on Longstaff for a couple of years to get Miley up to speed. Good character for the squad too.

I think the reaction is because most were expecting a legitimate 4th midfielder who can push the first 3. From what I understand he isn't that? considering that the reaction is understandable, it doesn't seem like anyone is saying he's bad.

Longstaff out and Mcginn in, in isolation, wouldn't have been a bad move at all a month or 2 ago. But his age, his potential fee and the fact he's coming from a direct rival make it an utterly bizarre move. If it's true

How much do you think it'd cost to get someone as good as Joelinton, Tonali or Bruno? £50-60m plus? Someone like McGinn for 2-3 years who can play in there and other positions if the price is right would be a cracking piece of business.
