NUFC Transfer Rumours

Recommended Posts

Palace got another year and a half from Guehi, won the FA Cup and are still selling him for up to £30 million with a sell-on clause. I doubt they regret not selling him to us and we bid for him when he was always going to be at the height of his value.

Gabriel Gudmundsson at Leeds is the type of profile we should be looking for at left-back and maybe even right-back in my opinion: an experienced option in their mid-twenties from a decent club outside the Premier League, who wouldn't cost the earth and in our case would probably be content as a backup/rotation option.

It’s quite frustrating. Last regular defender to come through was Dummett,  we’ve had Forster and Woodman fail their auditions as keepers with Krul the last regular. Similarly Armstrong and Campbell up front. Last CB was Steven Taylor and last right back feels like Aaron fucking Hughes. Andy Carroll the last striker in 2008. Aarons the last winger?

Longstaff, Anderson and Miley the shining lights in midfield.

Aarons was signed from Bristol wasn't he? We don't produce any half decent wingers

If Leeds can afford JSL, so can we. Get big Willy punted. JSL wouldn't be third choice, he'd be challenging for the no 9 spot. It would certainly stick a rocket up Wissa's ass.

“nowt to do with Mitchell” apparently.

ah sorry, I stand corrected.

i stand by the data point, that was a club decision as opposed to a Mitchell one but maybe suds was his guy. I’ve got that one wrong 👍🏼

I’d hazard a guess his role has been diminished now and he’ll be off by the summer.

I’m not so sure he will, a beefed up data department was always the plan.

unless Wilson has his own man, of course.

i guess time will tell.

I like Gudmundsson, he looks assured and was always looking to go forward with purpose, against us. Would be a really good backup if he is available in the summer

Another player with a PL premium. We need to sign these players before they come to the PL.

Tino is off to city in the summer is getting a lot more reports.

I’ve heard this off a friend of a friend situation, apparently has a position at the club.
On a good note he did say it was gonna be in this January window but obviously injuries etc.

Hopefully bullshit.

Wouldn’t mind us looking at Joaquin Seys from Club Brugge, looks a cracking player when I’ve watched him in the CL.

Can play both left and right back as well, that’s the versatility we need.

Called Seys back in December.

Reckon Andy Howe will give me a job?

Lewis Hall at Chelsea only has two years left on his contract.

Looked a decent player when he got a go earlier in the season.
