I’m sure there’s quotes saying there is money to spend but we have to be careful not to compromise summer business. Judging by all the players “allegedly” on their way out, I wouldn’t be worried. I still don't believe a word he says RE: transfers in situations like post-match press conferences, and it's the best way to go about it. Agreed, just thought it was a noticable difference in tone from the prevoius ”it depends on injuries”, ”We are assessing it”, ”if the right player for us is available” etc. Given how tough we find summer windows i am not expecting much in January.
