The comments have been spun a few different ways in the media seems like it may have been around attacking and creative reinforcements which he down played due to finances. The sale of willock or osula may have changed that but seen as they both still here hes probably right. Think that response was specifically to a question about bolstering the attacking/front line, not January signings in general. Perhaps he's tempering expectations, as forwards generally cost a lot of money, and particularly if we want one almost ready to hit the ground running.
