I’d sell Bruno, Isak and Gordon. If we can get £250 for them that will allow us the breathing space PSR wise for a proper rebuild.

I’ve come to the conclusion and an acceptance that with the current PSR set up and APR rule changes that there’s no way we can aim to do what I thought we’d do when the takeover first happened. 
 

I do think we’ll sell one of our big players in the summer. I actually think we could replace Bruno to an extent whereas Isak would be a nightmare to replace. Gordon isn’t going anywhere for a while I don’t think.

I can predict the January window now, 4 weeks of being told Howe wants PL experience, more tension with Mitchell and constant links with Calvert-Lewin and Elanga.

Think unless Howe / Tonali click and we stumble into something 2nd half of season, there’s a very valid argument that Tonali will be actively moved on in summer. Still producing for Italy, so quality level is there to entice clubs, and it can be blamed on previous regime if we sell for say £35m/£40m and got to take the loss. 
 

It’s better to do that now, then double down, have same issues next season and lose someone we do rate again.

I don’t know why we’re so quick to jump to these conclusions. Howe takes a while to bring Hall in - the signing was a mistake and Howe hates him. Tonali doesn’t start as quick as we want - Howe didn’t sign him, doesn’t rate him and he should be sold. Despite being miles better than what we have.

Kang-In Lee would be ideal imho. Rw/attacking mid. Takes set pieces. Left foot is great. Brilliant passer of the ball and close control. Could be the right wing player we’d need most or could drift in and play as an attacking mid.

I thought the thread was for any interesting links to be posted in order to spark some discussion. You guys are no fun!

 

But I did notice people wanted more concrete stuff, but that is so rare to know for certain, and those then tend to get their own threads for those players when it looks like they have substance.

 

For those that don't mind more speculative links we have recently been linked with Bakayoko at PSV and Quenda at Sporting for the right wing position.
