NUFC Transfer Rumours

Not sure what a purple RW signing would be, that's £40m-£55m and wages of £150k ball park. Like Olise in summer is the type of purple in that ballpark that meets criteria but we were never trumping Bayern.

Bakayoko would class as such. By most rumours, he'd cost around £30M, maybe a little less.

Looks like Lens are being forced to raise €44m in January due to their financial situation and will consider selling the CB Abdukodir Khusanov who we've been linked to recently. Could pave the way for an opportunistic deal? Although seems fair few other clubs interested too.

Wow didn’t know their financial situation - he’s a great prospect this guy - at 20 and under Eddie’s wings he’ll develop really well - would be very happy with this - France is a good league to develop CBs - tough, physical league

I would love to sign Bischof from Hoffenheim aswell

Sure Dibling bagged a few against us as a 15 year old and we tried unsuccessfully to sign him.

I think Bakayoko could give us some flair and dribbling ability that we haven’t got, looks less manic than St Max on the ball and puts some decent balls in the box.

Long term think Dibling could be a big talent though, possibly similar to Cole Palmer, if we could get him I think it would be a real coup.

He got 3 at SJP I think

Dibling is the perfect hybrid forward - I just can’t see another 9 coming and be content to sit on bench - at least Dibling will get games - then there might also be a pathway for Parkinson if he continues this rise

We aren’t getting Tonali 😉

It was just a loan until his incoming suspension passed. Now it has he'll be off to one of the multiple clubs he's been linked with...

Did I do it right British media? 😄

All 3 pretty much identical too.

I know we've been wanting to upgrade Miggy/Murphy for about 3 years but surely our priority in January has to be a backup Striker?

If Isak gets injured we are in big trouble, Gordon hasn't shown he can deputise there and Osula is far too raw.

None of them are ideal but we have plenty options with Gordon/Barnes/Murphy/Miggy all capable of playing on the right, and whilst I absolutely love Isak, one concern has been him picking up slight injuries multiple times in the past two seasons. Would be a disaster if we run him into the ground needing him to play the full 90 minutes most games with no rotation options.

I think short term this clearly has to be the #1 priority.

I think the RW needs to be a striker hybrid personally. We can't get both.

We don't seem to do short term signings. Can't imagine there are many strikers of any standing available on loan, and we won't spend good money on a 30 year old.
