Would be pretty disappointing if he is our marquee RW signing this summer.

 

Not to be too snobbish, but I'm always wary of signings from Scotland who tear it up for the likes of Celtic and Rangers. The jump in quality to the Premier League is immense. Van Dijk is the last one that I can remember who made the transition successfully.

PSV fans seem to have a really low opinion of Bakayoko this season. Apparently not even a guaranteed starter now. If he can't do it in the Dutch league that's worrying. On the other hand, everyone improves under Eddie so maybe he sees something in him that's yet to be unlocked. Maybe that'll get us a discount if we do go for him.

They'll possibly only have Dibling, KWP, Harwood-Bellis & Fernandes who are actually PL quality. Given how bad the Championship standard is they'll probably be able to bounce straight back up without investment too much in their already Championship standard squad.
