Presumably a very hefty fee and associated wages, and didn’t particularly seem overly happy to share responsibilities with Duran when he was the A side of that, so surely would be even less happy when he’s the B side with Isak? Wissa, still seems unlikely, but the more I think about it, not completely so. Realistically, his only chance of CL football (whilst staying in the PL) is to come as backup somewhere. On low wages at Brentford, so offering a significant raise wouldn’t be a problem. Is he definitely coming to last year of his contract, or did I read somewhere Brentford had a years option so it was effectively two years left? SteV Posted July 8, 2025 Share Posted July 8, 2025 Reading the Brentford forum they don’t seem to think they would sell him (for a sensible fee) as well as Mbeumo. They might well be right. Already lost their manager, captain, keeper, (arguably) best player (if it goes through, so I doubt they feel inclined to chuck their top scorer in there too.
