NUFC Transfer Rumours

Fine by me. Trust our scouting then add our coaching team to them.

I’d take incremental improvement right now rather than a big bang which we’ve tried but can’t seem to pull off. We need to replace and improve on the output Wilson and Longstaff offered, improve on an ageing Schar and improve on Pope due to his poor ball playing ability.

Im sure there’s players out there we can get that can do that.

Any chance we can get this calculator snagging nerd as our head scout? I think all the names from our 2022 list have been crossed off now.

What's he called

What's Sanjay doing these days?

It doesn't help that these top six bastards hijack every transfer we're trying to make. If we get a run at someone without them sticking their nose in we'll get them.

Get Dan Ashworth in as a temporary consultant

He’s back at the FA and plotting the hire of Eddie Howe when Tuchel shits the bed at WC2026

Also at 6ft 2 and plays with a presence which Howe likes

Can't comment on whether Ashworth is the answer but I agree on beefing up the negotiating team with some experienced consultants so we can run multiple deals in parallel and gather some momentum. fucking glacial pace and focusing on one solution at a time.

An eternity ago now, but was it more than Charnley and Carr for the Jan 2013 swoop?

Didn’t we bring in the ex Celtic guy after the takeover on a temp basis for that very reason. I’m sure he’s one of the favs for rye sporting director job

SSN doing a run down of each club alphabetically of transfer news. A-M each get news of a player mentioned. Gets to Newcastle and they say Eddie Howe is confident of bringing players in

says it all

They know nothing because we generally tell the press nothing...

We playing in a completely different market than we used to and I suspect we lacking the experience to deal with the characters we encountering now who are likely seasoned super agents and experienced execs. Not every lesson should be learnt the hard way, get some help fast
