We’ve spent £60m brought in £48m plus whatever we’re getting for Dub, so there should be plenty left. Our wage bill should be significantly reduced too.

I put Ramsdale down to completely fucking up and getting fucked with the Trafford debacle, and then having a big opportunity to save a few quid with Ramsdale.

 

Thiaw and McGinn though, can't argue much with that.

If you believe the Athletic etc we knew Isak wanted out for months maybe the plan was buy Ekitike and sell Isak. I’m not buying for one minute we wanted both at same time. Same with Pedro. 
 

we appear to have bent ourselves double trying to facilitate Isak leaving to the detriment of our window. It’s very strange

Why did we give Villa a free run at Guessand when there was always a big chance Sesko would pick Manure. We have a limited budget, whilst others don't.

 

We had to sell players with a potential last year or lose a key player.

 

The club are trying to bid / spend within their means against others with bigger pockets.

 

Do we stay humble and buy the next level down to simply get bodies in, only for people to complain the likes of Wissa, Ramsdale are not the quality of player we need.

 

It's so frustrating but the closer we get to a top team the harder it becomes
