I’ve suggested this move a couple of times on here over the last week or so, and if neither club has a need to sell for PSR reasons then we can do a loan with an obligation next July, so it pushes back the FFP window it is completed in.

He’s a striker option for one of the best teams in the world but not good enough for us? If by not good enough you mean not as good as Isak I agree but Isak is a unicorn we aren’t getting one of the best strikers in the world to replace him

Ramos for a hefty loan fee out of the 150m for Isak

150m in installments for Isak and bollocks to Ramos

compared to the alternative is all good

Ramos is probably the best replacement for Isak we could wish for. I hope we get him, but it's more likely he stays at PSG.

Ramos will work extremely hard in the press. I think his qualities go well beyond goal scoring. Ramos + Wissa > Isak

In six months to a year the entire market landscape will have changed. Strikers who we haven't even thought about now will be touted as the next big thing with price tags of 50-80 million pounds attached to them. 

 

That's the argument for replacing Isak later rather than now.

Ramos is more of a finisher, whereas I feel Samu adds to the power pace and potential of the team

If they'd consider £50m and he was up for it, I'd seriously float the idea of Isak for £100m in front of them just to be done with it. Ramos & Wissa in for Isak out of the league and be done with it.
