He's gotten to the top of the mountain as a squad player. He hasn't gotten there as the No. 1 guy yet and you'd imagine an ambitious 24 year old would care about that.

Think him and Wissa would be a fantastic strike force

Once you’ve tried  really good steak you want to keep eating it. He’d help us raise our bar.

Yeah most players at that level historically if they had anything about themselves just wanted to keep winning again and again. Besides I think this discussion is just massive assumptions based on not much at all.

Usually I would consider players who are still young but experienced at winning things to be a good thing.

Hope the link is genuine.

They dont need him (and i dont think he goes this window) but there is logic to getting him now if they believe he would stay otherwise. Next year could be a bidding war and cost them more. I assume this is the same reason Liverpool is doing everything they can to do it now for as little as possible.

Would take Ramos, Lee Kangin and 63m for Isak. Our money back plus two solid players. Throw in Donnarumma on loan whilst paying most of his wages and I’ll snap your hands off

I could scarcely imagine a player less suited for Eddie Howe football than Lee.

Don't know about a Ramos type signing. Whats the long term plan for him? Never going to be good enough to be our main striker by a (shallow) look at him.

Why isn’t he?

Ramos said after the game on Wednesday that he’s not moving this season.

Yes, exactly. ”Fresh encouragement” is very interesting choice of words after player said he’s not leaving.

Because he would’ve still had that desire to climb Everest. Won it all since. It’s a no for me. Get someone hungry in.

Nobody should sign Julian Alvarez then, because he has really won it all.

Nope.  They don't need him.

I don’t think it’s a matter of need with a player like Isak. Sometimes when they become available (as is more than likely the case) then you have to act if you’re in the financial position to. For me this move ticks all the boxes - we get that sulking cunt away from the club, he gets the big move he wants (surely he can’t say no to the champions of Europe) and we also get a purple player in a position we really need.

I think PSG aren’t stupid and having Isak, Barcola and Kvaradona in the same team basically turns them into the strongest forward line in Europe for the next few years.
