NUFC Transfer Rumours

Think he piggybacked that one off the Jorman press.

Ah right yeah I remember now.

Hope has absolutely earned his nickname, but in his defence, he also earned his money last summer. As Edwards continued to insist that Isak wasn't for sale, No Hope was adamant that we were after Sesko and Wissa, all but confirming Isak was gone weeks before he actually left. He beat the German press to the Wolte link. I remember that day vividly. I also took a screenshot, and in the most Craig No Hope way imaginable, he buried the incoming transfer scoop of the summer in a paragraph that began "But here is the problem".

I think I've learned that in a lot of cases you shouldn't get excited about signings until a year after they've signed.

It probably also stands to reason we should try to refrain from shitting all over our new players if they are slow to adjust and acclimate - especially those new to the rigor and challenges of EPL. It's not always easy I know.

I wonder if many (or any) players read these boards.

"Hi Victor, are you familiar with Antonio Corderdo?"

"Erm, no, doesn't ring a bell..."

"Great, don't look him up"

Edit - misread that he was 17yo but I'm going to roll with it anyway

These are basically all just extremely rapid wingers with little else of note. Sounds about right

From my Dennis Wiseing Afonso Moreira looks like the best LW we’ve been linked with, or at least the one that relies least on pace in behind.

I think it will be interesting to see if we go for Bilal El Khannouss

Effectively Stuttgart went for El Khannouss to replace Woltemade. So would we then be getting El Khannouss in to replace Woltemade? But then what if El Khannouss, who might replace Woltemade, ends up with the same struggles that Woltemade has had? Do we then target the player Stuttgart bring in to replace El Khannouss (who replaced Woltemade) to allow us to replace El Khannouss (who replaced Woltemade)?

Food for thought

If Hope got every single prediction right for eternity, I'd still not trust him.

That rumurs been going strong for about three weeks now. I get the feeling there is some substance to it.

A quick Dennis Wise youtube makes him look a bit like De Gea when he first arrived over here, lots of good shot stopping but a tendency to push the ball back into play.
