I got too high last night, just thinking how a 22 year old. Or even more extreme, Lewis Hall at 20. both just casually being mint in the prem. I was a fucking useless at that age. They're playing alongside blokes in their early 30s, who fully trust them.

It's been such a long time since we had great young players, it trips me out.

They might have the quality but you win in consistency mate.

Exceptional tonight.

Full back sorted with Hall, Tripps and Livramento.

I'd like to see us pick up another full back prospect and ditch Krafth and Targett. Think Krafth has got an extension though..?

Something about left back seems to encourage him to run with the ball more. Which is his biggest strength.

For some reason he was starting to go bit stale at RB for a few games and had actually dropped to the bench if I remember?

Great assist for the first and solid performance all round. Slotted in for Hall brilliantly.

Mentioned it in the match thread but being comfortable on both sides gives him a massive advantage of getting on the plane to the world cup.

Previously, it always seemed pointless taking 3 RBs and couldn't cover the left (not counting Trippier) especially when our LB options were Shaw and Chilwell who are never fit.

Hope he carries his confidence over to RB when Hall returns. Everyone always just clicks on our left hand side. Right side is far from a problem, but not as fluid.

Tino is great, like.

He was brilliant again. It has been mentioned but one of his issues is having Murphy in front of him. Murphy has done amazing at the top end of the pitch but in build up is so limited which doesn’t help the RB, a more elite RW would get more out of Tino (sorry Murphy!)

I don't think his vast improvement has anything to do (directly at least) with him playing on the left. Trippier has been playing much deeper than Hall does and Livramento basically has free rein to get forward as often as possible, and he seems to have boundless energy so it suits his game.

We've not missed Hall at all, and he's been one of our standout players this season - that's how good Tino's been.

And how well Tripps has done recently as well.

Tino should basically just play on whichever side the best winger on the opposing team plays on.

He seems to be a bigger threat going forward on the left than on the right, but I prefer Halls ball playing skills from an offensive point of view than Tinos surging runs.
