He's a wide player that scores 1 goal in 3 - you can't afford not to play him. Fair play on him doing the shift on the right, as Gordon clearly can't be arsed. The way I do think Howe wants his team to play require a heavy load of intensity from especially the wingers - so the ideal imo would be to change the wingers around 60 min for them to be the most effective. Gordon doesn’t use his pace once he gets the ball, it’s infuriating. He’ll sprint to get the ball and immediately slow down as his first preference is to turn inside.
