England's Lewis Hall

Man of the match for me, he was utter quality, both with his passing and more importantly his defensive work, completely nullified both Silva and Savinho.

Him and Trippier are great at it.

Thought both were very good today on the whole.

Pep playing Grealish and Silva wide, suited them defensively, which was a big help.

He’s got a bit of a dribble on him too so he can really get us up the pitch.

Trippier is a great passer but often he has to stand still and find a pass. Hall can run with it to find a better pass.

I’d like to see more of Hall and Willock. Willock is much faster on the ball than Joelinton, way better on the half turn. Hall is fond of a risky ball in the middle where the likes of Joelinton and Longstaff either don’t want the ball or are on their heels. Willock is sharper in those areas.

Other players need to wake up that Hall is going to pass it out under pressure. They are often on their heels not anticipating a pass.

His corners from the right are deadly, think he delivered three all in the same difficult areas for defences. We’ll get a lot of headed goals against teams this season if he’s always on corners on that side
