Holloway
A harsh criticism I know, but does he have to beat the fourth player ?
Elma
But if he doesn't he'll never get to beat the fifth?
Miggys First Goal
Too good for us.
nufc123
Hes so much better than everyone on the pitch.
Tsunami
He was absolutely gutted at the end.
Guybrush
Exceptional today, and probably the only player more gutted than Bruno. He left it all on the pitch and had some terrible decisions go against him. No wonder he lost his temperament near the end.

Lotus
I’ll take some flak for this, I think he is a superb footballer but not a great defender. Think we’d be better with an Enrique type. Don’t really want to see our defenders dribbling the ball all the time. He’s not quick enough either. Our defence is so exposed I think our FBs have to be the lockdown type, not playmakers. What he offers from an attacking perspective gets a bit lost because the rest of our attacking shape is quite devoid/poor. But teams can regularly waltz through our midfield and get at our back line. A lock down FB would suit us better atm.
Boey_Jarton
Lewis Hall is the absolute least of our worries. Exceptional footballer, unreal close control, great dribbler with real attacking threat, and a solid defender who – like nearly every fullback in the league – gets done occasionally. That's it. nufc123
He is usually very calm but went out of character tonight.
AyeDubbleYoo
He dribbles when he has nobody to pass to.
Gallowgate Toon
I am starting to think he's a bit wasted at left back. He could be a sensational midfielder imo.
La Parka
He's fucking class like
NSG
If we’re persisting with 433 then I’d be tempted to hoy him on the RW slot. Genuinely think he could be excellent there.
Keefaz
I think he's getting sussed out a bit. Oppo realising he tries to dribble out of danger rather than passing.

Nah, he always looks for a pass before he decides to dribble. It's usually when he's already cornered and it's the best way out.
AdoptedGeordieFromPompey
Every single game he puts a goal on a plate for a striker with a wonderful cross and every single game, no-one makes good contact. It's uncanny how often he does it. Should have 5-10 assists on the season.

We unfortunately are crying out for quality in the final 3rd and he’s one of the only two players we have who can do something that unlocks a defence. It’s a moot point as we don’t have any other full backs. But would be interesting if we could try it.

TheEntertainer
Absolutely superb today, there were two player on the pitch who looked like it really mattered for them tonight for Newcastle and he was one of them. I honestly love him losing his cool a little at the end when he's trying so hard and honestly being so good and getting very little from the rest of the team. Rapidly becoming my favorite player. Kid Icarus
I get the impression that he realised he wasn't getting what he was giving from some of our other players
Trewicks tash
I think he starts next season in midfield ' probably easier to buy a left back then plenty of cover with him & burn
Minhosa
He’s absolutely elite. Like top top level. I’m 46 and he’s the best LB of my lifetime comfortably. Just hope he doesn’t get unsettled when Tino goes.

Can tell so much he was brought up playing midfield. Close control is ridiculous.

Cant see how he’s not Englands starting LB at the WC at this rate. He’d be miles more of a loss than Livramento tbh. Also can’t see how there won’t be massive clubs circling this summer for him, particularly if we don’t get Europe …
