David Edgar
Moyes has done Howe there. We look toothless against a low block, again.
Nobody
West Ham are loving this game like. Got so much time to set up defensively
Aiston
Hasn't clicked for Anderson, been invisible.
healthyaddiction
The commentator on the stream I'm watching seems utterly incapable of telling our players apart and it's driving me mad. It's not even similar looking players. He though Lascelles was Isak and I think he thought Almiron was Tonali.
Matt1892
I would take Longstaff off and bring Wilson on, we need to shake up the midfield.

Surprised by people criticising Anderson fairly heavily. We’ve already seen him play some lovely stuff for us in other matches I think West Ham's system is the main reason we look flat. Need to switch things up. 4-2-3-1 with Isak in the hole. Would consider binning Burn too and getting some more quality from LB.
The Fountain
29 minutes ago, David Edgar said: Bruno getting sent off for his second foul would be fucking daft. Ref dug his own hole by giving the first booking. Only booked Bruno cause he booked Emerson for waving the imaginary card
AJ9
Think we need ball carriers. Murphy on, Isak left and Wilson up top. As much as I think he will come good, Sandro can come off. Would also be tempted to throw on hall for Burn.
Aiston
Our complete lack of creativity shows so much in games like this. Creative midfielder a must.
Billy Warthog
We might turn into a different side after half time. They'd still love revenge for the thrashing we handed them last season.
Bimpy474
The better we get the more massed defence and counter attacking teams we'll face, we have to learn and find the answers. Eddie will eventually.
Jilted Generator
West Ham happy to give us possession but we are doing fuck all with it. No creativity thus far. Who is up top now that Isak is out on the left?
Beren
Very flat first half. Difficult to mentally transition from counterpunching to being the team that has to break down a team looking to play on the counter. Isak having to drop too deep, no one in the box. Chuck on Wilson to play up top with him IMO.
JUICE690
Although we have most of the possesion West Ham look in control of the game.
mouldy_uk
Not sure about the European excuse, West Ham were away in Germany on Thursday so not really an excuse.
54
Thats kind of the exact performance I was expecting to be honest. We look mentally and physically tired, which is causing us to be quite labored in attack, that coupled with the fact that they're sitting deep, which we tend to struggle against, it was also going to be a tough afternoon. I like Anderson, but its not been his day, would swap him for Wilson, as we started to look a little better once Isak went onto the left.

jackyboy
We need to seriously up the tempo here, it's just playing into West Hams hands like this
JUICE690
Think we'd be good to go Isak left here. And Wilson on for Anderson.
Scoot
Got to bring Wilson on and play Isak wide left. Need someone to stay central to our attack.
HawK
Lascelles and especially Schar have been gesticulating a lot asking where the pass is into midfield - both Tonali and Longstaff are marked and Bruno's too far forward too. Either our defensive line needs to push up closer to half-way when in possession, or our midfield needs to drop deeper. There's too much space between the two right now when we have the ball. The change for me is Wilson for Tonali, Tonali's been completely off the pace. We can drop Anderson into Tonali's slot and leave Isak wide, he's looked effective so far as an outlet since he switched out that way.
