This game also shows why Murphy has a place in the squad despite who we sign within the next 2 years. Poses a threat even if he isn't always consistent and can play in numerous positions.

I mean we probably shouldn't, given the past and that this match is done, and we've got big games coming up, but we've got great bench options too.

Good against Lesser sides, not against better.

The quintessential 'gets shown up a bit if he needs to play a major part for an extended period of time but a good backup' and there ain't nowt wrong with that. We've got much bigger fish to fry before we need him out of our squad (unless a ridiculous FFP-boosting offer comes along, maybe from a promoted club or something).
