Guess it all depends on how much that extra is Vs how much better they think Scalvini is. I know Scalvini is the hot new name, but there may not be much in it between the two. Does anyone in here really watch enough Serie A to know for sure?

At the end of the day we’ve scouted this guy for a long time and we’re confident enough in our overall assessment that we’re not altering it based on one bad season.

 

That’s a high confidence signing in my book.

Scalvini is an excellent central defender and can easily play as 6 or 8 as well. He's valued €40 million, but Atalanta certainly won't sell him at that price. I repeat, Leoni is the only truly excellent player available at a fair price... he's currently less talented than Scalvini, but he's only 18, and his price is set to rise significantly in the next two or three years.

I have no idea who Thiaw is? Anyone seen him play? What’s his best attributes? Seems we’ve been after him for a while now so the scouting team must rate him.
