From my 3 minutes of intense scouting. He looks like a more mobile, slimmer and younger Lascelles.

Good on the ball? I'm not sure, Schar levels of hollywood balls? No! not from my 3 minutes.

Yes, Scalvini and Bastoni are the only italians defenders worth that amount.

We need someone who can play right away, I don't think our manager should trust stating an 18 in such an important position. 

 

Also Liverpool are reported to be interested so it's unlikely he'd join us.

Given Howe’s record, I thank all three of them are fixable under Howe’s system. Just spend the money asap and bring any one or two of them in.

I'm fine with us signing Thiaw. Not a world beater, but still has raw tools to improve, and like I said recently we are going to need another CB again next summer anyway so it's fine to go for more of a punt here IMO.

 

Him nearly going to Como isn't a bad sign. Their talent ID and transfer policy has looked really strong last 12 months.

This one is an interesting one, I haven't seen enough of him to make a judgement but on paper it looks ok. 

 

Obviously he's not a player any of us were dreaming about but the profile is at least logical, he's youngish Eddie works great with centre half and the fee and the wages shouldn't be awful. As all of these are manageable we should have an out without losing too much money if it goes wrong.
