They'll all be on much higher wages too. It's not like we weren't an option at all for them. Delap said he was really impressed with Howe and the project but wanted Chelsea. We've been fishing in the same pool as the cartel but we're still some way off being able to trump them to big players.

Part of the reason I stopped watching because I used to feel the same way and it was not good for me. You don't have to quit like I did, but having various things so you can say "fuck this" at any point.

 

If you do then I apologize for assuming. But in general this shit ain't worth putting negative energy into, even small shit like "this window sucks" eventually adds up and snowballs into something much bigger.

 

I'm more saying this as like for future windows because they're all mostly bullshit and mostly negative because the people leaking the news want that for engagement.

 

It's really not worth it as I'm sure once the season starts everyone will feel much better anyway. Well provided the team doesn't suck anyway, but I don't think that will happen.

This is exactly where I was during the 3-4 years I walked away because of Ashley. Every piece of news about the club felt like bad news because I knew the powers to be were hellbent on actively making us worse. So what’s even the point anymore.

 

Disappointing summer transfer window and (hopefully temporary) executive turmoil notwithstanding, I don’t think we’re anywhere near comparable to that right now. We won a fucking trophy just a couple months ago, for crying out loud.

If things are good I’ll say it’s good but it’s not. It’s just not. We’ve made signings it’s a positive but if you tell me they aren’t underwhelming you are being disingenuous. The summer has been a disaster. Here’s hoping the season starts well

Modern  I’m 44 ffs dunno how old you are but I’ve been going to games for 40 years. I said weeks because he said i was moaning for weeks. I was positive when things were positive

Last summer was a disaster, no doubt at all. We signed nobody and lost two talents thanks to PSR. We went on to finish 5th and win a cup. We have one of the best coaches in the world and although the window hasn't been as good as hoped, it's not all bad. We have a better GK, a big upgrade on Murphy and finally youth and pace at CB with a couple of weeks to address the other weaknesses. Take the positives man, you'll feel a lot better and will likely be surprised again by how much of a difference having an elite coach, instead of the latest flavor of the month from the continent, can make.

A lot of people were underwhelmed when Eddie was given the managers job……….look how that panned out. Best just to wait give the new signings a chance, you just never know.

Age is irrelevant, it’s mentality. You’ve been nothing but negative in pretty much every thread you post. The window still has 3 weeks to run bit whatever happens you won’t be satisfied because it’s not gone the way you wanted.

All I’ve said is I don’t think he’s a good signing. It’s you & venkman? (I think that’s his name) that’s bitching and moaning at me. If you think he’s a good player why does my opinion matter? Skip by it 

 

I was told on here I was moaning & being negative coz I said Isak head had been turned when sent home from Glasgow. The negative opinion can be the right opinion. 
 

fwiw I’ve been very positive about the one positive this summer - the young kid park.
