If Fak’s patter wasn’t so relentlessly shit the situation wouldn’t have escalated to the point it has, to be fair. By no means do I think he or Nucasol hold racist views, though, based on reading their posts across the forum for years.

 

What was said about the AFCON was totally unnecessary mind, but it surely just falls into the category of one hyperbolic word from someone frustrated with an international tournament being held mid-season that could again directly impact NUFC negatively.

 

To now have Ronson threatening legal action against the forum off the back of that is one of the most laughable and unhinged things to have happened in 20+ years of this place being around.

Just catching up with this. Take a breath man. I get it, I get annoyed at any anti Scottish posts and I guess throwing a racism element in to the mix makes it a million times worse but I honestly don’t think that was the intent. We don’t hold the same value to AFCON as we do the Euros and that’s absolutely on us all and add in the fact it’s mid season it’s a bit of annoyance. I can’t talk for anyone’s feelings or intent but think it’s a mix of high tensions, the current way the world is and misunderstanding of meaning behind posts

 

Edit: another thing to remember is a lot of people in modern day find international football really fuckin tedious. I think 99% of people on here are club over county fans and on the back of a very boring international break I think most would find a mid season tournament tedious
