I hope he starts today. A sustained look at him is the only way many of our supporters will start to reckon with the fact he’s woefully underequipped for this level.

That's definitely a bit harsh. In his last few outings he's scored a couple of goals and caused Everton a lot of problems (should have had an assist if Schär hasn't skied it).

I'm not convinced he'll be anything for us other than a modest PSR flip, and I don't think Howe trusts him yet, but he's got something.

He's been thrown in the deep having to lead the line all pre season, hope he starts today and bags a goal.

Do I think he will be at us long term, no, Do I think there's a talent there, yes. Think if we got another striker and loaned him out hed have a worldie season in the championship and we'd make our money back and some more on him.

I think he should start after glimpse of good performances on limited minutes he is on in previous 2 matches. Considering also we don't have anyone else that comfortable playing upfront.

He earn it, especially with his goal against pools.

If not, then it's poor man management from Howe.

This is probably his most important match in his career. There is a small chance that he can pursuade the club that he is good enough to be the understudy for VTMD if he shines tonight. Good luck kid.

Said it before, but Origi was this for cesspool. Barely played but caused chaos when he did. Was a good option to have. If a player is happy to have that role then he's a real asset.

I actually think he’s done well when receiving it deep on the turn. What he’s done poorly is running onto balls as he’s always fouled his man. I think there are still lots of things to work with but it’s his brain that is the biggest issue
