It got written off as being caused by the injuries, but this was the standard away performance all last season, from the start.

No structure, massive gaps between attack and defence, no intensity.

There is no excuse for the latter now. Where has our press gone? Where are the bodies driving up the pitch when we turn the ball over?

Nobody is breaking their neck to run beyond the ball, it's all static and lethargic. When Joelinton lost the ball for the goal, aye it was shite by him, but he had no one to pass to. No full back bombing on, Gordon jogging himself into being marked, midfield stood static. If you play with no bravery as a team, you'll lose the ball like that time and time again.

Big changes needed in the second half and in away games going forward.

Injuries were an excuse, an easy out and a way to protect the manager. I've not changed that opinion, but Howe is going to have his work cut out to stay in a job this season if this is the best he can do with no excuses and PCP no longer protecting him.

Big 2nd half, especially as they clearly want it more.

There's far too big gaps between players. Too often Tino will have it and it's like 15-20 yards next nearest player. We're just not a side that's coached to play with the ball, so when we are then not pressing with intensity, it's BAD.

Curious who still thinks Guehi is the solution to what we're watching right now?

It's clear we're lacking pace at the back, so j would suggest he'd be a solution to that particular problem

This is fucking pigshit. Bournemouth are pressing well but we've simply not got the quality to break through. Just aimless punts down the middle or into Row G
