Isak not squaring it to Big Joe was poor, but the loss of possession on their winner was just as bad.

He's been really poor (not the only one) this season. He's arguably cost us four points in the last two games

Got to say starting to lose a bit of faith in Howe. The players seem to be regressing, today the game plan was atrocious as was the 2nd half restart. What game can we say this season the tactics have worked ? Plan A isn't working and we have no Plan B . Yes we've been restricted by psr in terms of personnel but we seem utterly welded to this 4-3-3 that you can drive a wagon train through the middle of . He's like an A.I. with his subs and it's always like for like. Also set pieces are atrocious. Then you take into account the away form is the shits. Really like Eddie and want this to work but he needs to improve and fast.

Isak dinked cross? Or Isak around the keeper? Or the header James had to put over his own bar?

I don't know. Don't fundamentally disagree with you that it feels very unpolished. Just trying to get what joy I can from it all [emoji38] In my heart I don't really believe in this regime being the one to breakthrough

I've been forgiving on account of us underperforming xG but when we're doing it every fucking game you start losing faith in our ability to score.

Tonali is a bit of an enigma for me, want to love him and he seems capable of doing it all but still feels like he might be causing more problems than he's solving

He’s a 2 in a 4231 - a hugely talented player - Eddie hasn’t got a freakin clue what to do with him - says more about Eddie than Tonali

Fuck off back to Sheffield Osula if you think laughing and smiling with Palmer trying to get his shirt is acceptable straight after a defeat

Must be difficult to feel attached to wins or losses when you play 90 seconds a game if you're lucky.

I thought we weren't anywhere near as bad as some of the, relentless, moaning cunts on here made out.

Honestly, some of you need to fuck and award some other team your unswerving "support"

A week to prepare, and yet our intensity is still so many levels below 22-23. It’s like the players have switched off listening to Howe, so that extra 5% that elevated us has gone. Mixed in with a poor coaching set up, it’s making even the good players look average.

And maybe our previous set up and who signed him. Maybe it wasn't Eddie.

Trying to take a step away, we’ve over achieved so far and FFP has us tied up in knots. Our squad isn’t deep enough and we have players in our best 11 who really shouldn’t be there.

It’s hard to accept but there we are.

There’s a few players who got us here whom hit their peak the last two years. We have not done well in replacing them. Schar, who is nowhere near his best today in particular stood out. Burn was nowhere near Jackson for the goal, but he had a better overall game than Fabs.

We need another CB to play with Botman when he returns and to pray his injury hasn’t ruined him.

Brutal, the last has played about 10 minutes for us and sees us as nothing more than a job.

He's been dealing with injuries and so his form has been inconsistent and he's had some awful moments, as he hasn't been sharp.

The real story is not having any reliable and trusted alternative so he isn't thrown back in straight away to play full matches.

Going into the season thinking we could rely on Callum Wilson again was a joke that gets less and less funny with each game.

How, for the love of God, can you play football all week, for most of your life, and still be unable to kick a fkn ball properly? Step up Nick Pope. It needs examining by experts.

I thought we did OK today, against a team that is allowed to have vastly more resources than we are allowed to. I feared the worst after the first goal, but we dug in, competed and really - Cole Palmer (best player on the pitch) was the difference between the two sides. Thought Big Joe did better and we more involved when he went to outside left.

I feel dispirited a wee bit, but not down. Clearly there are issues that need sorting out with this side after a really poor summer. January will be key.

PSR is working as it should though - Big 6 will be happy as they've managed to disable us, since the takeover and really stall our development.

I thought he was tidy on the ball but was confused by his positioning - looked very central and left a gaping pocket for Palmer to ghost into.

Still think a player of his quality and skill set should be able to adapt to a different role and make more of an impact than he has thus far. Too early to make much judgement either way really, just bit underwhelmed, appreciate it's difficult for anyone to look great in this team currently

Why would he give a fuck? Insulted by playing 2 minutes if he’s lucky. Never had a run in the team.

PSR is doing a great job for the cartel mind. Not only is it stopping us from improving, it makes it more likely those clubs can poach our better players as they get disillusioned by not being able to challenge for the top 4.

Chronic lack of pace at the back outside of Tino is always our biggest weakness. Especially as Bruno can't make up any ground so he's essentially pointless being the deepest midfielder.

Both goals came about due to lack of mobility. Schar getting no where near the ball and Burn not able to cover in the center for the first.

The 2nd, Schar too scared to commit so just backed off to eternity. Both so soft.

That doesn't mention the complete lack of attacking cohesion generally though apart from the goal which was mainly down to Tino coming inside and offering something different, we didn't look threatening at all.

Not sure Gordon would have changed much. But Barnes was anonymous as fuck. Hardly took his chance to prove he should be starting.
