Fantastic counter.

That highlight does Anderson no favours at all tbh. Doesn't spot the danger, until too late until the play has gone past him. He was worse just before it starts too, he was turned around facing the bench and gesticulating as well.

Rumoured to be prime Maradona when he played against us [emoji38]

I was one of his biggest fans whilst he was here, but It hought he looked lost out there yesterday. Good ball retention but seemed disconnected from their play in both directions.

I work alongside a Forest fan and he rates him highly. I'm pleased that he is doing well for them, not so good against us!

Sat watching day time TV all day today so gonna see if this ref watch thing covers the elbow and the studs and what bs defence they come up with for it if they do.

Although Elliott Anderson is class, thought when he came on, he was reminded by big Joe, who the daddy is.

Aye he definitely tried to go toe to toe a couple of times but came off second best.

I've always had a soft spot for Forest since the mid nineties so checked in on their forum before and after the game

most seemed very confident beforehand, without the snide arrogance you see from fans of the cartel clubs

afterwards most were full of praise for Newcastle, comments like best team they've played this season, very well coached etc.

just nice to see their fans for the most part appear pretty sound and their club is competing at a high level again, would love to see them displacing the likes of Spurs

great win for us - other results and table shows how competitive the top half is going to be this season. MU languishing in the bottom half yet only 4 points of third is crazy.

Imagine the meltdowns Arsenal and Spurs fans will be having, Villa too perhaps!

" Well done to Newcastle. Deserved that. Better team on the day.
A few sub-par performances from some Forest players today and felt we over-stretched once we went 1-2 down. But no whingeing. Reset and go again.
As a consolation for today, two words to say to Newcastle which will always make us smile.... Odysseas Vlachodimos!"  [emoji38]

Anderson is still pretty rough around the edges on the evidence of yesterday but I still think he's got a lot of potential. I'm glad he went and not Gordon or Bruno but still sad that we were forced into a sale.

Went onto their forum and there are some level headed, decent fans there which is lovely.

What I did notice though is there were far too many acronyms, which would indicate players with double barreled names. No.
