Newcastle United 3-3 Liverpool - 4/12/24

Man alive, bet that was a classic for the neutral.

My emotions were everywhere during that game.

So much better than the last few games, which is what frustrates me so much - we go toe to toe with Liverpool after losing to West Ham and Crystal Palace, it's mad!!!!!!!!!!!

1 minute extra for the VAR decision should've been added.

Some appalling ref and VAR decisions today

Doesn’t matter, you aren’t supposed to stop an attack like that.

Intense game, good point and definitely something to build on from. Lets hope we do!

If Murphy and Gordon had abit luck with their chances we would have beaten them!

I was dreading them nicking it 4-3 at the end again. We'd never hear the end of it.

It would have been great to have finished them off, but a draw is about right. We battled really well.

Have to say - I utterly loathe Liverpool, but you have to tip your fucking cap to Salah. He really is phenomenal and strangely non-loathesome for a Liverpool legend. The way he shifts the ball from one foot to the other and makes his second motion - all in one move - is spellbinding.

He’s an awful diving cunt as he showed just before he scored. Good player though. Roasted Hall tonight.

Good game for watching etc,

But we had so many clear cut chances to kill that game, could easily have had 5 if we had been clinical.

For me there's still something missing, if Botman was back, and they solve the right mid problem that might be it, but I'm not sure if its something more than just RW, if we do get a right winger, it needs to be a really top tier or elite as they put it, can't just be another player to rotate around.

Aye, I find that quite pathetic.

Howay man, the adrenaline is pumping, they've just left it all out there. Emotions are high. It's not the craziest reaction to want an explanation

Yeah, fair.

We should've had a pen at 2-1. From there on I have been proper flat.

That’s a bummer man because we played some of our best football for ages even after that. Gotta learn to enjoy the ride dude.

Really pleased with the performance, and if it wasn't for that shit decision to blow up for full time when we were through with numbers I'd have been delighted with taking a point at the death

Thought it was a good performance over all and probably a fair result in the end, they missed some sitters too.

Annoying that we found the intensity and energy again tonight in a big match. Hard not to be doubtful that we will carry it into the weekend.

Decent result though. Makes a change not getting beat off them, especially when they're steamrolling everyone else.

Well, it was a fantastic performance with a non-familiar outcome.

Far more good to talk about than bad. I'd not swap Isak for any centre-forward in the league. He's absolute magic to watch in top form. Gordon was class, worked his socks off. Tonali was absolutely amazing - what a motor, thriving in a fast-paced game.

Absolutely battering the best team in Europe for long periods of the contest.

We were repeatedly exposed on our left-hand side. A steep learning curve for Hall, who got repeatedly schooled by Salah.

Ref got some right, some wrong - but that ending was a bit of a farce.

We looked like Champions League finalists. How the fuck does a squad capable of that so regularly produce the performances we see vs the Hammers etc

Every fullback in football gets schooled by Mo. Thought Hall did the best he could and won many key 1 v 1 battles

We would've fluffed that counter anyway lads, don't worry about it

That actually calmed me down a bit  Of course we would have.
