They do pictures in their dressing room if they get a 0-0

I remember Dyche going on in the media when he was looking for another job, telling the world that he's not just anti football long ball merchant and it was just because it was Burnley and if he got a chance at a bigger club he'd show he was more than that.

I know Everton were in a desperate place when he came in but it feels like they are going even more extreme in their anti football, survive at all costs mentality.

He should have progressed and evolved them by now if he's as good as he makes out.

Will be an interesting team selection, we need to rotate as we looked leggy today. Would be a huge risk playing Botman again as well, but that's for Bunce and his team to decide.

I think we'll see Joelintoon/Willock double pivot on the left come back, Tonali 6 and Longstaff RCM with Gordon Right. Kelly for Botman being the other change.

We've looked leggy in the 2nd half against Man Utd and Spurs. Will need not only fresh legs but effective ones too. Howe will plan his tactics and strategy quite explicitly I'm sure for this match more than any other.

Got to get some fresh legs in the midfield, fullbacks and wings for this one:

                                    Dubravka
Trippier          Kelly                     Burn        Targett
                                        Tonali
                      Longstaff             Willock
Barnes                             Isak                    Joelinton

He's such an insufferable hypocrite, like. Can't stand the bloke. I hope we dump them out in the most controversial of circumstances just to see him lose his shit again.

I'm not looking forward to this one. Eddie hasn't been able to rotate, we look tired and have players missing. The strength in depth of our squad is nowhere near the level of the likes of Arsenal. It could be all over in the first leg.

Eddie has defied conventional thinking so many times in the last three years, but this may be beyond him.

Agreed it’s a very difficult match to manage and avoid injuries and getting overrun. We’re going to have to use the squad and hopefully stay in touch. Theyre more of a grinding it out type team currently though so we’ve got a good chance over two legs. The worry obviously is we leave ourselves with too much to

do 2nd leg.

We will definitely go with as much as the same 11 from yesterday with Bruno obviously dropping out with suspension. I suspect in the second half we make more changes earlier on.

This is a huge opportunity to progress to the final as they’re not playing well and have injuries, I’m feeling confident 👀

The pressure will be on them, they know they’ll get their usual slap at SJP, so they’ll have to go for it here.

Without Saka they lack creativity and we’re in top form. We know how to get in their heads, and they are a very ‘ emotional’ club, so let’s do it to them again 😀

I think we should just park the bus here. Isak and Gordon only to be used as subs in both this and the FA Cup. Limit the amount of goals they score and have a go at them home.

Especially Isak has been playing way to much compared to what he has been able to handle before. Gordon is a different beast i guess, but I thought we did end up seeing him being fatigued at some point last season.

Desperately hope we get any sort of result here. I really think we'll do them up here.

Get a result and it gives us a game to rest some big names versus Bromley and then prepare for the final stretch of the season which should see fixtures more spread out.

In a way it's good to have the Bruno situation taken out of our hands because I thought he started to look quite leggy yesterday.

I think we might come unstuck after such a gruelling schedule with a lot of time spent on the road. Lose by one, but still in the tie.

Arsenal are in worse shape physically, although I guess there’s a question whether they rotate. They’ve Man Utd next weekend so also comes down to where they put the league cup in their overall priorities and whether they reckon they still have a chance of the title. TBH their fixture list is brutal

They played a second string in the quarters but then had to send it on Odegaard, Saka and Saliba to do a rescue job.

We take an age to set up our quite frankly awful long punt set pieces from anywhere in and around the half way line. Which does my head in. As it almost always comes to fuck all.

But due to Arsenal’s set pieces. We might need to introduce a play clock like they have in American Football. They were forever fucking about and taking ages to set up their corners and free kicks last night. Been at it all season.

They might start getting called for all the fouls they commit at corners and all. Although I doubt it.
