SUPERTOON Posted Thursday at 22:44 Share Posted Thursday at 22:44 If we are still in it for the second leg, that will be tasty.

Not if we're 4-0 down from the away leg without Schaar and Bruno. Could argue it would be better to get the home leg first in this instance.

Aiston Posted Thursday at 22:44 Share Posted Thursday at 22:44 At least we are at Home 2nd leg.
Decky Posted Thursday at 22:45 Share Posted Thursday at 22:45 Play a strong defensive game away and fucking go for them at home. Think if we win it'll be Liverpool in the final.

Lush Vlad Posted Thursday at 22:45 Share Posted Thursday at 22:45 Would rather it was home first, TBH. Think getting something to hold on to and keeping it tight for an away game is preferable. If we need to open up at home to a top team chasing goals. We’ll get picked off. Still, nice problem to have. Actually being in the draw at the business end of a cup competition! CallumG6 Posted Thursday at 22:45 Share Posted Thursday at 22:45 I’ll be sick as a dog if lego head knocks us out. 2nd leg at home though, we can beat anyone at SJP.
54 Posted Thursday at 22:45 Share Posted Thursday at 22:45 Home leg second was the most important thing no matter what team we where playing.

Yorkie Posted Thursday at 22:46 Share Posted Thursday at 22:46 Yeah, happy with that. Obviously we're not favourites but you wouldn't bet against us given our recent record against them at SJP.
Stifler Posted Thursday at 22:46 Share Posted Thursday at 22:46 Written in the stars for us now. Spurs have knocked out Man City, and Man Utd, they’ll knock out Liverpool, get us who should be the most winnable final they could have, and Spurs it up. Risk getting routed before we can take a game to them at St James. Just two bookings to get banned is fucking ridiculous.

Historically teams playing at home second leg have a better ratio for getting through ties - though it is marginal. That’s for European games like - not sure re League Cup

Home first puts pressure on us to do our business early and hope we've done enough to survive the second leg.
