Amorim's setup was absolutely abysmal, I can't imagine how anyone could study us and think that midfield was suitable. Arguably one of the worst managerial decisions I've ever seen from a supposed top class manager, to be honest.

I thought it was the sort of thing he'd have got away with in Portugal playing anyone other than Porto or Benfica because they'll have been so much better than nearly everyone and it wouldn't have mattered, but incredibly naive to do it in the Premier League and against a side with our midfield and current form.

Amorim is a dumb coach.

His system is funny. Either control the midfield with no threat or bring on more attackers and let the opponents run riot.

He is not a very good coach.

If he had been brought in to say take over Ipswich and lost 5 or 6 in a row, pundits would be calling for him to go.

No feeling anything for any of them please.

Let them suffer man. They need to suffer.

They are disgustingly arrogant.

The sad thing is they’ve barely suffered at all. The mismanagement at their club deserves relegation.

That first half performance was as far ahead in quality as I've seen us against these, and that includes the famous 5-0.

Second half was a bit more nervy and I was frustrated that we dropped off. Could've been a different game if they'd scored, but we dug in and made some good last ditch blocks, and rode our luck a little, which I think we deserved overall.

Mainoo is carrying an injury. It's the only reason I believe he started with Eriksen and Casemiro. Wouldn't be surprised to see Mainoo miss Sunday now but then Ugarte and Fernandes would be back.

I think as soon as he brought Mainoo on to hassle Tonali and Bruno G we were the better side, but that's more likely to be a consequence of you being in cruise control.

Reckon it should be 2-5 at half time. It was a fully deserved win tbh. Opening half hour if you had said that was Real Madrid against Larne FC it would have been believable.

He's been brought in and has his way. He changed it and they looked better for it. It'll be interesting to see if he sticks to his starting pattern as the season goes on. We'll find out in time if he's a manager who became famous as he could bully lesser clubs in his league or if he's adaptable and can get the best out if lesser things.

Postecuglu levels of naivety playing that CM pairing against fucking Tonali, Bruno and Joelinton

What a win that is. Actually a bit disappointed we didn't get at least 3, which feels mental to say after years of being battered there. Feels like we're turning some big corners, shaking off some old curses. Anfield and Wembley next please
