I always get a bit nervous when most people I speak to says we'll smash them, easy win etc etc, reminds me a lot of before West Ham

The results yesterday were a delight, hopefully we can do our part and the table would look so much prettier

I know what you mean.  But that was before we'd really found any consistent form.  Was it Arsenal and Forest we'd beat leading into it and then an international break coming at a bad time for us?  Before that, we'd been up and down from the start of the season.

Of course there is variance in football.  They get an early, flukey goal and it becomes difficult and the way they play could cause us problems like it did for Spurs.  But we do seem much more clinical, solid in the middle and in control of games compared to the first 10-12 league matches or whatever it was.

They have been playing a higher line recently, if they continue that we should be fine. They do seem wide open at the back as well, however they have just signed a new CB so he may help with that.

Third league game this season (for me) following on from Brighton and Wet Spam so hoping the team keep the winning run going and end my losing streak.

3-1 win. Isak with 2 of them.

Feels like an important game to me. As they all do when you are pushing for a Champions League spot.

Didn't think I'd be typing that a month or so ago. What a turnaround.

Think Lemina is a good player for them. Seems under rated to me. I've read he's not certain to play because he might want away.

Apparently he has completely downed tools and is just coasting through games for fear of getting injured and jeapordising a move to Saudi.

So who is taking one for the team and ensuring BoSelecta doesn’t enter the ground tonight whatever happens..?

They're not rating BDB on their forum at all... they think he's 5th choice.

Little do they know.

Posts like this remind me to have a little humility and concede that fans know more about their own squad (in general) than we ever will.

Hope he puts a hat trick on their head.

I saw he has been out of the squad for a while and only came on against Forest.  Guessing since he had that meltdown and lost the captaincy.  He has given up and has his heart set on this move away.  Last big payday for him.  I thought he was younger than 31.

This one feels important to me because it puts us in the top 4.

We're not chasing it at that point. We're in the driving seat.

It's been such an effort to get to this point and I hope we take advantage of it. Not the end of the world if we slip up this evening but would be really nice to reap the rewards for the recent form.

If we slip up we’re still 5th! Not too shabby. But if we’re on point a we win.

I've never liked this lot since Steve Bull smashed in four against us on New Year's Day!

I'm sure at least three if not all four were at the Leazes?!

2-0 - Isak and Sandro
