andycap
If wolves had scored in midweek we would of just closed up shop. And went 5-5-

Lush Vlad
If Sa didn’t make a worldy save off Murphy and Isak’s shot was inside and not outside the post. We would have scored 5.

andycap
Bournemouth will hopefully be penned in there area for most of the game with semenyo and kluivert doing a lot of defensive work. Let them worry about our players drifting.

jackyboy
This won't be easy today. We tend to struggle against Bournemouth and they are playing really well
SUPERTOON
Wolves should have scored, but I thought the majority of there opportunities and dangerous moments came when the game was already won and we had made a few changes.

Fair point, but you would have thought our defending should be better with fresh players on, it was mostly attacking players who were taken off. I think Howe would have wanted us to keep the clean sheet, and it was kind of lucky that we did.

Most of the bench players are quite a level off the ones they are replacing.
Unbelievable
26 minutes ago, wormy said: Schar available and he goes to the bench? You have to question Eddie's lack of loyalty, there. Can't be good for morale. What? I love Fabian Schar, but the guy took a very silly yellow on the halfway line vs Man U when the game was pretty much over for a one match ban (which together with his league cup suspension meant a two game layoff). Botman came into the team and after about 10 minutes of shaking off some rustiness looked like he'd never been away. Schar then got ill for Wolves and again Botman played, and played very well. If anything Botman getting the nod here again is Eddie showing loyalty to Botman who for the last three games against serious opposition did pretty damn well in a pairing with Burn. It's Schar's place to re-win now, and Botman's and Burn's to lose, and rightfully so in my opinion. No player should just expected to walk straight back in after a suspension or injury layoff, especially when the guy stepping in hasn't put a foot wrong. LiquidAK
This one is the real test, unless we win in which case Southampton away is the real test. We'll only know what the real test is for sure once Eddie "the fraud" Howe fails to win a game.

mighty__mag
Not worried, Kerkez good in attack, Huijsen watch out for on set pieces, Semenyo we obviously know is strong and quick, the rest not bothered about. We're doing this!
alexf
They have good athletic players that we need to be careful in transitions. Tino can match them but if they get 1v1 against our other back 3 then we have problems. I would say this game is more about us though. If we play well and our energy levels are good then we win. Bournemouth will cause us more problems than Wolves if we're not on it.

Yeah we went to a 5-5-0 formation against Arsenal and basically just shut up shop, but in that game we did it effectively even given the amount of subs we made. I thought we looked a bit sloppy against Wolves, that's all.
