Newcastle United 1-4 Bournemouth (18/01/25)

Exceptionally frustrating game against a very good team who were flying as much as we were going into the game. Always annoying to drop points at home but find it hard to get on the players backs tbh. It's been a great run but a step too far after a match on Wednesday night.

Feel like we need to reach an understanding that the other team are trying to win too and it's not always that we're fucking shit when things don't go our way.

A really bad day for most of our players, but it happens. Bounce back next weekend.

Still maintain anyone getting into the players or Howe after today needs to look at the results over the last 2 months and have a proper look at themselves.

Important week ahead. We look like we’ve started believing our own hype a bit. Proper back down to earth performance and result, and much work to be done

Yes. We looked quite poor against Wolves already.

Fuck me absolutely dreadful performance. Kept giving it away at every opportunity. Still can't pass out from the back and no out ball if we need to go direct. Everything rushed and lacking in composure.

They were excellent to be fair: physical, pressed hard and fouled and shithoused their way when they needed to plenty of pace and movement on the ball.

We've been getting the run of the green recently, hopefully today's just a blip, but hard to take any positives from that.

Couldn’t give a fuck. Absolutely fucking poor to rock up like we did today.

 because they're quite clearly a lot fitter. Have you been watching the game?

We've had an extra cup tie too. Bournemouth were fantastic, but you cannot blame our players for being leggy.
