Coffee_Johnny Posted Wednesday at 06:20 Share Posted Wednesday at 06:20 Shame Fab’s mate Brereton Díaz has been deemed surplus to requirements and fucked off on loan to Sheffield United. By shame, I mean absolutely delightful turn of events which gives me faith that there is actually some justice in this world. ( …that game seems so long ago)

It's the exact sort of fixture we struggle in like the Bournemouth one. They won't press as high or aggressively as they did but they will have a rock solid low block which we struggle against often, with plenty of counter attack pace aswell. Still have nightmares of that Wood hat-trick and him turning Burn inside out and dinking over Dubravka. All the ingredients are still there for history to repeat. It’s a tough fixture but they’re beatable at home, games are so hard to predict too.
ExiledGeordie Posted Friday at 07:04 Share Posted Friday at 07:04 Just looking at the table, we’re 6 points behind Forest and Arsenal who have tough games coming up and on paper we have winnable games. Massive opportunity.

Alberto2005 Posted Friday at 07:51 Share Posted Friday at 07:51 I was/am still a little worried about this game for some reason. However I've just read that Kamaldeen Sulemana is injured and Ramsdale has a late fitness test, along with the Dibling injury. I was concerned Sulemana might give us some issues. He ran Mazraoui ragged, although given Gordon did the same that’s probably more on the shitness of the defender. Hopefully we get that keeper McCarthy again from the first game of the season. I’m still not sure i’d want Pope back in the side. He’s been so shaky this season and I have absolutely no confidence in him when the balls passed back to him. PCW1983 Posted Friday at 13:33 Share Posted Friday at 13:33 (edited) The plane that’s picking up the players has just landed at Newcastle, roller coaster style. Actually it’s not that one, it’s in the way. Has landed now, reported wind sheer on first attempt but good landing on the second.
