Seems fine?

Disagree.

EDIT: Mainly due to all the recent 'humble' craic. Fine to say they're coming here to turn it around, but to say they're coming to score three... four... or five, is pushing it, and I'd hope a few of ours would be looking at those comments with a wry smile.

Think the key is in how Eddie sets us up. Let's be aggressive, not passive. That plays into their hands. Go for an early goal, get the crowd with us, we know how good our crowd can be at times and conversely how shit it can be in adversity at times. Leave it all on the pitch, no regrets.

I love to hate Arsenal but I couldn't give a shit about those quotes. They need to score three at a minimum. They may need more. Doesn't strike me as him saying its a given but just an acknowledgement of what they need to do if they're going to turn the tie around.

All for Howe turning it in to motivation for the players if he can, though.

I don’t think it’s that bad either tbh. If he hadn’t mentioned scoring four or five (which given the context doesn’t seem that bad) no one would give it a second thought.

Sounds more like he's trying to sound a positive note rather than be disrespectful tbh. They got beat 2-0 on their own ground, can understand why he has to now overcompensate to show they believe the tie is still there to be won.

Been watching the press conferences a lot more this season. I'm amazed at how shit the journalists questions are

Do they just think of the most irrelevant or cliche things they could ask?

A combination of that and not being able to think on their feet, so when they're 7th or 8th in line they ask the same question, or a close variant of, that's been asked probably three times already.

Apart from Louise Taylor, who is the football journalist equivalent of Robert Peston during the Covid pressers, it just takes her the best part of a minute to ramble through whatever nonsense she's asking

I think the first goal will be the most important, we scored first and can afford to sit back 5-5-0 time.

They score first and we'll start to get nervous

It could go either way

🤣🤣

I just don't think sitting back at home against a team like Arsenal will work over 90 mins. Feel like we have to go out with the intent to beat them. If we are still level at HT, then we can maybe look to go 5-5-0 for the last half hour or so.
