Certainly one of the better Arsenal players last night. Other than losing Murphy for our first goal, I can’t remembering him putting much of a foot wrong. TBG
He is good like, needs to move to Liverpool or a forrin club though. He'd win something there.

I’ve known Kieran since he was about 7 years old playing for Woodbank in Bury where his dad was manager of the team. Chris, his dad, is black yes. If Kieran grew his hair out you’d be able to see that he is mixed race as well. Absolutely pathetic comment from an utterly disgusting fan base, that when things aren’t going their way, throw out all the petulant comments they can. They’re rapidly becoming the most unbearable set of fans around. Really hope Kieran sees that video.

Scoot
What a great night last night was. Absolutely love it when it's bouncing like that. Side note: I'm the roughest person in the world today. Help!

Bimpy474
If you to want to be fair, he has apologised. Whether that was because it was pointed out who Kieran's dad is. He'll be judged on that, and I judge he's a twat. Edited February 6 by Bimpy474

Yorkie
Glad to see Bruno's performance being celebrated but I'll always find it tough to enjoy anything by that pretentious whopper Jonathan Liew. He devalued his flowery, simile-laden word salad with that Saudi reference at the end, anyway, as if that had anything to do with Botman's "surgical terror" (🙄🤮). But yeah, the central point was correct. We bullied Arsenal and Bruno was fucking mint.
54
Just dawned on me, that if Liverpool go through as expected, and we beat them in the final, our route to the trophy would have included all of the current top

She must be stopped by any means! Jokes aside though, I think this more shows it is clearly a Sky Sports agenda to generate engagement because it gets Arsenal fans excited and Newcastle fans raging. She kept at it until Merson gave in and he knew it too. Pretty silly really.
PauloGeordio
4 hours ago, LFEE said: https://www.theguardian.com/football/2025/feb/05/bruno-guimaraes-newcastle-arsenal-carabao-cup Loved that. Bruno-ed! Bruno Guimarães is writhing on the turf. Could be trouble, this. He almost seemed to spin through the air as Myles Lewis‑Skelly clipped him. Landed awkwardly. Still down. Clutching his calf, and maybe his rib too? The Newcastle physios crouch expectantly at the touchline. Eddie Howe wears a concerned expression. Referee Simon Hooper brandishes a yellow card. At this, as if suddenly possessed by a bolt of divine grace, Guimarães slowly rises from his slab and accepts the benedictions of his teammates. Less than 45 seconds later, he will be sprinting at full pelt towards the edge of the Arsenal penalty area and playing an outrageous no‑look pass to Joe Willock with the inside of his heel. Miraculously, Bruno Guimarães has cheated death again. Anthony Gordon stuns Arsenal and sends Newcastle into Carabao Cup final Read more In a way, those 45 seconds of Newcastle’s 2-0 win against Arsenal were perhaps the purest distillation of that volatile and mystifying substance known as Total Bruno: the boundless skill and the base-metal skulduggery, the artistry and the industry, the beauty and the ugliness, all in one irresistible package. This is a player of sumptuous technical gifts on the ball and yet whose most compelling attribute is probably what he does without it: the 2023‑24 Premier League leader in terms of distance covered, well on course to retain his crown in 2024-25. Of course, this is just the ground he covers with his feet. What the GPS vests and data readouts won’t tell you is the amount of territory he also manages to occupy in your head. Here Arsenal were dragged into the kind of turf war that was only ever going to produce one winner: not simply beaten but broken, not simply bruised but Bruno-ed.
