Newcastle United (4) 2-0 (0) Arsenal - 05/02/2025

I had a chat with a now former Newcastle player a few years ago (who I won't name) and he said our crowd could really terrify some of our own players but when we're at our best and then team's playing well it just kills the opposition.

Just need the ref to book one of them for time waisting on one of they rugby set pieces, they will proper spit the dummy out then and lose their heads

Anyone who suggested Trippier should be sold should hand their heads in shame.

A good defensive performance so far, a leader on the pitch and a truly magnificent wind up merchant

No, c'mon, this has been his only good performance. Can't be relied on anymore.

He's had about 3 good performances since November/ December 2023 mind.

Funny how the dark arts return with him on the pitch, he leads the way for us in that sense.

We're 3-0 up, and yet i'm a bag of nerves. Who said being good was fun? My heart rate much preferred it when I was apathetic and games didn't matter

Arsenal are like Man City of past and Liverpool, can zip through gears and score 2 goals in a blink, so understandable.

Every other side and it’s party atmosphere 2nd half.

Like others have said, that was actually a very tough finish for Murphy. He was stretching a lot more than it looked live

Trippier has been class. Looked like his old self tonight. I'm a big fan of Tino but we do miss Tripps' composure on the ball and ability to pick a pass

Botman has been outstanding

Also, I wish that Isak goal counted, what a belter that was

Even for Murphy’s goal his shot was quality. Put some whip on it with his left peg.

My (Sky) river dried up, but it was about 2mins behind anyway \(was getting texts off lads from work when goal went in).

Found another, and think it must be the world Carabao Cup feed. Much better, and up to speed too.

I know Gordon's not having the best of games, but he's such an outlet and always liable to make things happen and take responsibility no matter how he's playing so will always give him allowance

He's having a good game.

People have crazy expectations of him IMO. He's not playing against you and me, Arsenal's defence is mean! He's stretching them and generating chances.
