I said last Saturday that Eddie had a bit of a get out of jail card after Pope's two displays as I knew he'd play Dubs in the FA Cup and as long as he didn't make any clangers then I expect to see him in nets vs West Ham but we'll see.

We all need to go into this with a positive attitude, fans, players, staff and everyone connected with the club. We will need a bit of luck, but at some point in time we have to stop being good losers, get the mental fortitude and actually win something.

Think that would be a mistake. We aren't going to win the possession battle so we should just go with raw end product. We could set out a plan to concede possession over the 90 mins - which will happen anyway - but just beat them with sheer end product.

 

Barnes-Isak-Murphy might not give you flowing football, but there's a potential winning goal or two if we can keep it tight at the back.

My gameplan there would be forget about possession, don't worry about playing it out, just get everyone defending 100% then smash them on the counter.

I’d be pumping the ball to Murph early to get him to create a chance or two for Isak, have him take a pop at goal too. If he gets into a rhythm early he’s at his best self wor Murph.
