[League Cup Final] Newcastle United Vs. Liverpool - 16/03/25 (Live on ITV & Sky)

Recommended Posts

So what are thoughts about putting a safety bet on Liverpool to win?

Was having this debate with a friend and he was keen to have a financial reward attached to the potential misery of losing (betting on Liverpool), but he said he wouldn’t care about losing the money if we won.

Anyone else doing that, or is that seen as deep betrayal?

I always do that when we play cunts. Draw no bet on the opposition. Odds were shit on Liverpool to win this though 😞

The teams that have got to the final of this in the PL era - Sheffield Wed, Tranmere, Leicester (x2), Leeds, Wigan, Birmingham, Boro (x3), Blackburn, Bolton (x2), Swansea and Bradford and we get Man United and Liverpool.  Three of our last four finals against the fkn champions.

CL clubs were seeded this year. It was pretty much all Premier League by the quarter finals. So long as seeding continues, lower leagues won't get anything like as much of a look in.

Let’s hope they get PSG in UCL, so it’s more of a challenging game midweek for them before league cup final.

Hardest final we can get, so will need luck. That’s having all of our players fit, them missing a few and then in the game. Shame they can’t be in same situation as last years final.

We blew our chance two years ago really but the players will have learnt plenty from that. From memory Isak has been injured and wasn’t at the same level, Bruno had been out, we had Karius in goal. Assuming we aren’t unlucky with injuries we’ve got the players to win it.

Newcastle are 2/1.

Don't back down, double down.

Have never bet against Newcastle, never would

A bit of bunce won’t ease the pain of losing a final

Just rawdog it

We win, fun times.
We lose, sad times.
That’s life.

What a game this is for us to finally put our shit record against them to bed.

It won't be easy, but a win against this lot would mean way more than any other team in the league.

Hopefully,we have learnt from the last final, and have all the players available.

I've never backed Newcastle to lose, why would I give that scenario any of my energy ?

The feeling of inevitability that you're not coming back, as in the Man U second goal last time out, is awful for the occasion. I hope we're right in it till the final whistle.

Wheb did RAWK make their forum non-viewable without registration the absolute fannies?

Probably in response to the OSA. This is something we've discussed too tbh.

No reason this can't be a friendly final, they're not all cunts like that lot on Rawk

I’ve never understood the N-O hatred of Liverpool.  Scousers are the most alike people I’ve met to Geordies, always liked visiting their city (football results have tended to be shite).  All successful clubs will have tiresome glory-seeking arrogant wankers attached to them - the types that think that the club they picked winning things actually says something about them as a person.  When Liverpool win things I tend to shrug, in a way that I don’t with the London clubs.

Fuck everything to do with these cunts, their supporters, and particularly Virgil "Doesn't get dribbled past just don't mention that's because he brings you down or throws an elbow instead" van Dickhead.

We'll win anyway but here's hoping they have to go to extra time and pens in the Champions League a few days before it aswell.

Did I mention they're cunts? Cunts

Nah, fuck these cunts.

Fuck that bald nonce of a manager.

Fuck VVD.

Fuck the memory of whinging Klopp and those fucking teeth.

Fuck their entitled fans.

Fuck their quadruple hopes.

And especially fuck ever betting against Newcastle motherfucking United.

2023 was a warm up for us. We were overcome by the emotion of it all. We are a more professional outfit now.

We will beat these cunts. That trophy is ours.

Think it’s pretty easy to understand the hatred of Liverpool tbh [emoji38]
