Not that we are a one man team or anything

:yao:

We are when he terrorises defences, gonna need a different type of performance. Already worried about us not tracking their runners like Jota, Diaz and Szoboszlai.

was always gonna be our Isak getting injured instead of Salah

People on here were massively tempting fate wishing on a Salah injury.

And now here we are. Classic.

Anyway, hope it's mostly precautionary keeping him out.

Looks like the game is being written off. Isak is the one player they would be worried about, he's raped VVD on multiple encounters.

Ah well, would probably have lost anyway, not the worst game to miss I suppose.

Strongly think Isak has a tactical injury tonight and he's been given the week off. Not saying it's totally fabricated but probably massively exaggerated to give him the night off and I'm not totally against it tbh. He needs to be in tiptop condition in 3 weeks time which means taking a hit and resting him at some point prior to the Final, tonight, as negative as it sounds, it the correct game to give him a rest in. It's pragmatic as fuck and some will spin it as throwing the towel in before we kick off and I understand it but this particular fixture is the most difficult in the League :hmm:

He might well be carrying something, but I’m certain the calculation is there’s no point risking him for our yearly shlacking from these cunts.

Strong chance this is the case.

He looked knackered in the second half, over the weekend.

Yet @Rod likes this defeatist post :mackems:

It's not defeatist at all. All the statistics and data, even what you can see with your own eyes suggest we are more likely to lose than win.

Being realistic is the best way to be. If more of our fans were it would stop all this head loss and absolutely horrendous opinions we see after every bad performance or result.

Of course it's precautionary.  No way is Isak injured.  Mind games man.
