The only A in our squad IMO. It’s a privilege to watch him play in black and white.

I think Hall is an A personally

The definition for A in the opening post is World Class - could play for any team in the world. Do you really think right now that describes Hall? Maybe his potential, but I don't think many people outside Newcastle would put down Hall at left back in the team of the season right now.

I think Hall could play at LB for any team. Is he the best in the world? No, but he’s a top ten LB in the world in my opinion right now. I don’t think it’s even about potential. He’s the best passer in a full back position that I can think of currently

I like Hall a lot but I personally think that's a little strong. All opinions though.

Top ten LB wouldn’t make him world class, and I don’t think he’s in that list in any case.

He clearly has a lot of potential, though.

Hall is good and has a high ceiling but I'd name at least 3 better left backs than him currently in the league.

A clean sweep for Isak; everyone awarded him an A.

Next we have Emil Krafth. A player who might be about to get some game time following Hall's injury...

Doesn’t feel right awarding Krafth a D as he’s more than just squad filler in my eyes. For almost all of his time with us he’s been a D though. Eurgh, think this is the rating I feel most harsh about, going for a D

D seems fair. He's a reliable squad player, I rate him higher than most of our other backups, but he always seems to get found out when he starts a run of games.

D. As I think if he played more often. He would perhaps get exposed and people wouldn’t be so keen on him. But then since Howe has been here. He almost always comes in and does a good job. Never letting us down or making any glaring mistakes.

He plays more like a C the last couple of seasons, if that makes sense.

D+ for me. Perfectly capable and competent when called on but doesn't really offer much more than that. Solid player to bring in to cover for a few games, textbook definition of a squad player
